SLASH's Wife Reacts To AXL ROSE's 'Jimmy Kimmel' Interview

Perla Hudson, wife of former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash (born Saul Hudson), was one of millions who tuned in to last night's (Wednesday, October 24) edition of ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to watch GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose's first sit-down, live television broadcast interview in more than 20 years.

"I was waiting for something enlightening and all I got was promotion for a show and his evident affinity for a chili burger," Hudson tells Us Weekly exclusively. "Where is the love, Axl? And I stayed up for this? Sex, drugs and chili dogs. Long live Axl Rose. And a Halloween tree."

She adds, "He's had a Slash, a Buckethead and a Bumblefoot and evidently way too many Tommy's Chili Burgers! Hope there were some left for the audience!"

Slash told Rolling Stone in April that Rose "hates my guts." The two have not performed together since 1993. Rose currently tours with a completely different version of GUNS N' ROSES featuring no original members but him.

During a 2009 interview with longtime friend and former road manager Del James, first published on SpinnerRose called Slash a "cancer."

Courtney Love Working on Broadway Show About Her Life with Kurt Cobain?

Sam Lutfi, purported ex-manager of Britney Spears, claims he’s developing a new project with Hole frontwoman Courtney Love about her late husband, Nirvana frontmanKurt Cobain, which could wind up on Broadway.
The New York Daily News is reporting that Lutfi let the news slip while he was testifying in a Los Angeles courtroom as part of a lawsuit against Spears and her parents for alleged breach of contract, libel and millions in unpaid management fees. “[Courtney Love and I] are currently working on a possible motion picture or Broadway musical based on the Nirvana catalogue, based on her life and Kurt Cobain’s,” says Lutfi.
While Love’s rep had no comment on the alleged project with Lutfi, a source tells the newspaper that Love has been “talking about doing a movie or play about her life with Kurt [Cobain] for a long time. So far, nothing has materialized from it.”

Kirk Hammett Says Boris Karloff Outfit Inspired Him to Create Too Much Horror Business Book

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett’s love of horror movies may have spawned his gigantic horror memorabilia collection, but it was a certain outfit worn by late actor Boris Karloff78 years ago that inspired him to write his coffee table book, Too Much Horror Business.  Karloff is best known for his portrayal of Frankenstein's monster in a series of classic films, and for serving as both the narrator and the voice of The Grinch in The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
"One of my favorite pieces is the outfit Boris Karloff wore in The Black Cat from 1934," Hammett tells Fuse in a video interview. "When I acquired it, it made me seriously think about making a book. But once it arrived at my house, I put it on. I actually put it on and walked around and pretended I was Boris Karloff's character for about two, three hours."
The guitarist is currently promoting Too Much Horror Business by making appearances in several U.S. cities to sign copies of the book for fans. Visit the book’s Facebook page to see the full itinerary.
