DJ Lethal has rejoined LIMP BIZKIT after apologizing to the band for launching a public feud that began in April and lasted several months.
Earlier this year, DJ Lethal went on a Twitter tirade, writing, "I hate assholes that judge me for leaving a ‘band' I was in for 15 years. You're like a fucking moose that got lucky!!
"Fuck [LIMP BIZKIT frontman] Fred Durst. I was talented and was an artist [long] before [you] even knew who Fred was.
"If [you're] gonna be a wigger, then do your homework. HOUSE OF PAIN, bitch!"
Last week, DJ Lethal once again took to Twitter to "clear the air aboutLIMP BIZKIT." He said, "I have had some personal issues over the last few years that have led to some outbursts. A lot of the things I said about the band and Fred was out of pain and anger. None of which I really meant deep down inside. So I think I owe it to Fred, Wes [Borland, guitar],Sam [Rivers, bass] and John [Otto, drums] and the fans to really admit the truth.
"I had some problems. Be it partying on the road. Talking shit when I was drunk and causing internal conflicts. Today is the day that I can finally be a man and step up and say I'm sorry.
"The rants are done. And were really embarrassing.
"I think the guys in the band were actually looking out. I really needed a wakeup call. So to finally come clean is really hard, but the weight of the world on my shoulders is even harder to carry around.
"I'm in a great place now and want to thank everyone who had my back through the dark times. So to all the fans and the band. I really was fucked up for a while. I'm sorry. Fred and the band are great people. We're all human. All love!!
"Feels great to finally step up to the plate.
"I hope we can resolve our issues because I miss my friends and band mates. FC Ty for his help. The guys in our band are true gentlemen. Giving me a second chance after the stupid shit I talked and the way I acted really shows class. LBF Now it's time to step up to the plate and I'm hitting this ball out of the park. I was wondering how it would [feel] to be back. AMAZING! Grateful."
In his latest tweet, Lethal stated that he would be hitting the studio withBIZKIT today (Monday, October 15) to write songs for their upcoming album.
MARILYN MANSON And ROB ZOMBIE Engage In War Of Words At Michigan Concert
According to MLive.com, MARILYN MANSON and ROB ZOMBIE engaged in a war of words Friday night (October 12) at the the ninth stop of their 36-city "Twins Of Evil" tour at DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston, Michigan.
Manson reportedly accused Rob Zombie of cutting Marilyn's set short, telling the crowd, "I'm going to kick his ass."
Zombie also addressed the feud during his 90-minute performance, telling the audience, "Some tours just don't go [expletive] together" and making it clear that he was tired of Manson's "rock star [expletive]." He also fired more verbal shots at Manson while paying homage to Alice Cooper with a cover of Cooper's classic "School's Out" (see video below), dedicating the song to "the only real shock rocker there ever was, not some punk-ass bitch, Alice Cooper."
"[Bleep] you Marilyn Manson!," Zombie reportedly yelled several times, along with other choice words including "suck it, Marilyn Manson!" He also called Manson "Brian," referring to Marilyn's birth name, Brian Warner.
Manson implied on Twitter that Zombie had also cut Marilyn's set short Thursday night in Rosemont, Illinois, writing, "Sorry to Chicago for not getting to play 'Beautiful People'. You can sing it in between Zombiesongs, his band has already played it."
Zombie himself took to his Facebook page earlier today to "clear up the rumors flying around." He wrote, "Neither I nor anyone working for me made Manson cut his show short. It is a co-headliner and we both play the exact same set length every night. It is all very simple, but if one of us chooses to go on late for whatever reason, that time will have to come out of their set. That just the way it works, that is the way it always works. There is no evil plan going on. It is all complete nonsense."
He added in a separate posting, "As stupid as this all is, I feel I must clear things up a little better. First off, I want to thank all the fans who came out in the freezing cold in Detroit last night. It was a total blast as always.
"Unfortunately, things turned ugly backstage. Why? I don't know, but for some reason our touring partner decided to end his set by blaming me for something that I had nothing to do with and screaming he was going to 'kick Rob Zombie's ass as soon as he got off stage.'
"Go figure. I was backstage hanging, watching the show thinking, 'hey, this is gonna be a great night,' when suddenly he starts screaming threats. So strange. I don't get it. Christ, I've known some of his crew for 20 fucking years and some of his crew used work for me. It's all good. No one would fuck with someone's show. It is ridiculous.
"Well, of course I felt the need to respond to the 'kick my ass remark.' Who wouldn't? Although I wish I had kept it backstage and kept the fans out of it. It is all fourth-grade-fight-after-school nonsense of which I have never dealt with on tour before. Co-headlining tours always go smooth because everything is cut 50/50 and I mean everything. No one fucks with anyone's show. It is even fucking Steven.
"I've done co-headlining tours many times before and have had no troubles. Not with PANTERA, SLAYER, ALICE COOPER, KORN,MEGADETH or anyone ever. So I didn't expect any troubles on this. It seemed like a great idea at the time. But shit happens.
"Anyway, sorry to the fans who had to dealt with the embarrassing stupidity of it all. We are all there for the same reasons to give you the best show ever… that's it."

Green Day's Mike Dirnt Opens Up About Billie Joe Armstrong’s Vegas Meltdown
Green Day’s Mike Dirnt has weighed in on frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s profanity-filled tirade at last month's iHeart Radio music festival in Las Vegas. During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, the bassist reveals that Armstong's outburst may have been caused by the band’s hectic schedule to promote their latest album,¡Uno!.
"There were signs of things hitting the fan," says Dirnt. "We hadn't slept in forever and Billie had definitely had the worst of it. He'd been going through his own struggles. At the end of the day when we got off the road the most important thing was my friend's life."
Dirnt added that he hasn’t been able to spend much time with Armstrong since he headed to rehab to seek treatment for substance abuse. "I'm sure Billie's had it really rough,” he notes. “There's been very little contact between us...but it's a pretty heavy-duty process. This is probably the longest time we haven't seen each other -- I haven't seen Billie in weeks. It's an awkward position to be in, but we're going to pander this out."
While Green Day recently cancelled their appearance at the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience on October 27, the band is expected to resume their North American tour on November 26 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA.
Soundgarden's Kim Thayil Says King Animal "Wouldn’t Have Happened" if Not for Band's Chemistry
It appears that Soundgarden's upcoming studio album, King Animal, almost didn’t happen. Guitarist Kim Thayil says that if the band’s musical chemistry hadn't been as strong as it was the last time they made an album, the guys wouldn’t have written any new material.
“We got together and jammed -- we just let the music dictate to us before committing to or planning anything,” Thayil tells Premier Guitar. “If it still wasn’t there, I can honestly say this album wouldn’t have happened. It is still there and I’m just happy to be back playing music with friends that I enjoy the intimate sharing of ideas with.”
Thayil added that fans can expect King Animal to contain some explosive riffs, much like the album’s recently-released first single, “Been Away Too Long.” “I’m still an angry dude,” notes Thayil. “I’m just older. I still push the band to be heavy and dark -- that’s always been my role.”

Guitarist Kirk Hammett Says Metallica Would "Do Anything" to Help Green Day
On Friday, Voodoo Music + Arts Experience festival organizers announced that Metallicawould be filling in for Green Day, who dropped out of the festival so frontman Billie Joe Armstrong can continue his treatment for substance abuse. Guitarist Kirk Hammett says that the band jumped at the chance to offer support to Green Day, especially Armstrong.
“We got a message a couple days ago asking us to fill in for Green Day because…I guess Billie Joe is having some issues,” Hammett tells ABC News Radio. “We talked about it and we love Billie Joe, we love Green Day, and we’d do anything to help them out and we said ‘Sure, let’s help out our friends in their time of need.’”
Metallica will now be headlining the second day of the festival on October 27. The band joins previously announced headliners Jack White and Neil Young & Crazy Horse.
Intruder Arrested at Frances Bean Cobain's Home
An intruder was arrested Saturday at the Los Angeles home of Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, police confirmed to TMZ. The website says a house sitter discovered the alleged intruder when she returned home.
The man, who's described as a white male in his 20s, claimed he knew Frances and that she had given him permission to stay there. TMZ sources say the house sitter did not believe the man and called police.
Authorities contacted Frances and her representatives told them she had "no clue who the man was.”
According to E!, the alleged intruder was using Frances' washer and dryer and eating her food.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
