Accused Teenager Gunman Was 'Obsessed' With RAMMSTEIN

According to New York's Daily News, the 15-year-old accused of shooting a classmate at a suburban Baltimore high school on the first day of school was "obsessed" with the German industrial metal band RAMMSTEIN.

Bobby Gladden was arrested Monday (August 27) after allegedly opening fire in the lunchroom at Perry Hall High School. Police say he critically injured a fellow student, Daniel Borowy, before guidance counselor Jesse Wasmer tackled Gladden and took the gun away.

Gladden, who listed his nickname as "SuicidalSmile" on his Facebook page, posted the following status update the morning of the shooting: "First day of school, last day of my life. ... fuck the world."

Gladden described himself as a "metalhead" and a fan of MARILYN MANSON and SLIPKNOT, and had picture of RAMMSTEIN frontman Till Lindemann as his Facebook "cover photo."

Baltimore County Police Chief James Johnson said at a news conference that Gladden rode to school on the bus with a bag containing a disassembled shotgun, 21 rounds of ammunition and a bottle of vodka.

Brandon Boyd Talks Incubus Hiatus, Assures Fans the Band Is Not Breaking Up

Just because Incubus is going on hiatus after finishing up their co-headlining tour withLinkin Park doesn't mean fans should see it as a sign that the band is splitting up.  Frontman Brandon Boyd says he just feels that it’s healthy for the band members to take a break from one another after the end of an album cycle.
“We have no intention of breaking up as far as I know,” Boyd tells ABC News Radio.  “It’s like a family -- you step away from it, and you give everybody space and then, usually you wanna come back and communicate in the way you know how.  We’re very much like a family and we’re also in a really good place right now inter-personally.”
Boyd added that he will be busy during the break, as he plans to record another solo album.  “I’ve just been writing a ton of music and just demoing it, kind of quietly stockpiling them,” explains Boyd.  “Whether the music sees the light of day, I have no idea.  That’s not necessarily my intention, but I hope it does.”

Foo Fighters Haven't Played Their "Last Show for a Long Time," Despite Grohl Comment

The Foo Fighters aren't quite ready to take a hiatus from live touring, though frontmanDave Grohl had fans thinking otherwise over the weekend.
NME reports that Grohl announced to the crowd at the U.K.'s Reading Festival on Sunday, "It's the last show of the tour and it's the last show for a long time."
It was an unusual comment, if for no other reason than because the Foo Fighters have a few U.S. festival dates lined up for September.
If you have tickets to any of those shows, don't worry -- the band's appearances haven't been canceled. Grohl has clarified his comment on the band's Facebook page: "Jeesh! Relax.....I was only talking TO England!! ABOUT England..Stop eavesdropping internets! xoxo Dave."
