As we all know, the entire East Coast got rocked by Hurricane Sandy, HARD. This was the largest Atlantic hurricane in diameter in recorded history, and probably the second largest storm in the solar system next to Jupiter's Great Red Spot! The video below shows a time lapse of the devastation that rolled through New York City and it's pretty wild. Take notice at 1:03 when the power drops! HOLY SH*T!
It was announced today that Star Wars will return with another trilogy, and as expected, many fans are PISSED! Disney will take over for the next set of adventures which is one reason the faithful is confused and disappointed. But as a huge Star Wars fan myself, I couldn't be more excited! Will a new trilogy damage the integrity of the original trio of movies? Of course! I don't care though, because I fuggin love Star Wars in any capacity, even that horrible animated series!

As a young metal-head, there were few bands that I actually "worshipped". One of those bands was Strapping Young Lad! Devin Townsend has since abandoned the project and gone on to a terrific solo career, but everyone has been curious if he will ever bust out any old material from SYL. The answer is YES! Well, at least for one night. During Devin Townsend Project's recent filming of the upcoming concert DVD "The Retinal Circus", Hevy Devy busted out two classic SYL songs! Apparently this was a one time event, but I am stoked to check out the quality footage of this when it surfaces! Check out this footage from a fan! KICK ASS.

It's my favorite time of year! The combination of football, Oktoberfest and the colors of autumn get me in the perfect mood to rock and reflect. Now that Halloween is but a week away, it's time to get in the spirit of darkness! In order to do that, only one man can get my head where it needs to be! Who is that? King Diamond of course!

After watching a documentary last night titled Bigger, Stronger, Faster*, I have determined that the easiest and most effiective method of performance enhancement is by taking steriods! Look at the possibilities!
Any true rock fan knows that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is renowned only because its name sounds good. The fact of the matter is, it's a complete joke! Rush has been shut out of the Hall every since they became eligble in 1999 and this year they are up for nomination. Who else is you might ask? Public Enemy and N.W.A. You read that correctly. Two rap groups and the godfathers of progressive rock. I for one hope Rush stays out of the Hall because they have always gone against the grain and have established a unique mystique that may never be matched by ANY group. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is bogus. Don't let pretty names fool you.
We all watched Felix Baumgartner flex his balls and jump from the edge of space back to Earth, but did it actually happen? Why am I skeptical? Because I love conspiracy theories! I'm a geeked out space lover and actually watch videos about space almost every night before bed (no kidding!) but the idea that being on the moon and now Felix's jump can come into question intrigues me! Check out this proof!
Do I actually believe Felix made the jump? HELL YES! It was awesome!
